In 2008, Aref continued his educational odyssey at the esteemed “University of Zwickau” in Germany, where he earned a BA degree in the making of stringed instruments, specializing in the technology of bows and percussion. Equipped with a solid educational background, Aref then sought to enrich his knowledge and experience, leading him to the vibrant city of Istanbul.
The year 2015 marked a significant milestone in Aref’s journey as he realized a lifelong dream – the establishment of his workshop in the historic old city of Beit Sahour. Nestled in the City of Shepherds, Beit Sahour provided the ideal backdrop for Aref’s workshop, surrounded by beauty, nobility, and a rich historical tapestry.
